Defamation
Defamation or “defamation of character” is spoken or written words that falsely and negatively reflect on a living person’s reputation.
A great example of defamation would be accusing someone of sexaul misconduct. For instance the Michael Jackson lawsuits. The young boys family went all those years saying that Michael Jackson did inappropriate things to him. But when Jackson passed they came out and said it was a lie. Now the whole world thinks differently of him because of a lie. That’s defamation of character.

This tv show clip was hilarious. There was no communication whatsoever in this company. This is a great clip to watch and learn what not to do when trying to promote a campaign.

48 Hours of Twitter
I had never heard about twitter until my professor required us to sign up for an assignent in my Intro to Publc Relations class. I didn’t quite understand it at first, but I began to get the hang of it. After the assignment I continued to use it. It’s great for networking and meeting new people. The past 48 hours on twitter have been the same. I chatted with my professor about the Miss California hoopla. We both agreed that her answer about not agreeing with gay marriage because of her religion, was a sincere answer. And we both thought that her answer should not have cost her the crown. I also just sent a few friends little comments here and there. And I kept twitter updated on what was goin on in my life. I still like Facebook better, but the more I use twitter the more it grows on me. More and more people are joining twitter. It’s like the Facebook/Myspace craze all over again.
I’ve met alot of PR professionals.
PRProPam – She is really nice, and she helped me out with an assignment.
ladre09 – He tweets alot, and stays updated on the music industry.

Flying Free
I had a long talk with my mother last night and she really opened my eyes to alot of thing. Today I woke up feeling great. I am ready for what the future has in store for me. I am wrapping up this semster, and I feel good about the grades I plan on receiving. I am getting my priorities back in order. I am my main focus right now, and until further notice that is how it is going to be. I am excited about life and all that it has to offer. I am ready to work hard and reap great rewards. I feel more free than I’ve ever felt, and I love it.
