Chris Brown and the MTV Video Music Awards

There are rumors circulating that MTV asked Chris Brown not to attend the VMA’s  I f this rumor is true, I think it’s a little harsh. The man did a really bad thing by beating up Rihanna, but that’s his personal life. They don’t ban all the artists who go to jail for drug, DUI, and sexual assault charges. I don’t want to beleive that MTV is going to do that, but you never know.

Brown has apologized and is dealing with what he did. I don’t think it’s necessary to constantly remind him and ridicule him for his action. Until that incident, he had a pretty clean sheet. Now all of a sudden people are acting like he’s the devil. I think he should be able to attend the VMA’s just like the rest of his colleagues.

  1. I think it’s terrible that Chris Brown has to relive every single day and in every area of his life the one mistake that he has made while in the public eye. There are more than a dozen convicted felons who are also celebrities who have never received the type of treatment he has been receiving since the incident. It makes me want to go around screaming, “Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.”

    • Yea, people are so quick to point out and dwell on the flaws of others. But ignore their own issues. I hate that.

  3. Was Rianna there? I’m not sure she was. I’m thinking that MTV probably didn’t refuse to let him go as much as he is not ready to make such a huge public appearance.

    • I’m not sure if this rumor is true. I hope it wasn’t. But those were just my thoughts on the situation, if it did hold nay truth.
